Roseland Theater (Peter's Room).

Great performances in the smaller venue on the ground floor of the Roseland Theater.

I arrived at the venue early not knowing what to expect for a crowd. There were two bands prior to Icarus Witch finally taking the stage about 9:50.

Icarus Witch put on a great, too short set that really got the crowd energy up. Great sound. Excellent vocals! And they seemed appreciative of the enthusiastic, now fairly packed house. I would definitely catch IW again when they come back. They should have bumped one of the openers and extended IW's set.

About 11:00 On came Y&T who killed it until 1am.
They looked and sounded great! Dave promised to make it back to Portland much sooner than their last visit (1985!)
