I really fucking wish I was going to cleveland on thursday, but as of now I don't have anyone to go with me so am not... fucking sucks.

as lame as this sounds, i have very few friends who likes the music i like or they are simply too cheap and don't understand the entertainment of concerts so i end up going to most concerts by myself...im quite used to it by now. seen 8 of them, mainly power metal shows but also includes this Maiden tour. :/

I go to shows by myself all the time. I learned long ago that if I didn't go by myself, I would miss out on a lot of killer shows.

Same here. I realized back in college that this was the case. And it just gets worse the older you get. Guys settle down (aka get lazy) as they get older and don't want to go to shows. Or their spouses "won't let them go."

Same here I have only one long time friend who likes most of the music I like (but he just had a kid and got laid off). My other friends don't listen to metal or never have the free time to see shows.

Over the years, I have attended easily 50+ shows by myself.

Definitely 10x more fun to go with someone, honestly. But its still also 10x more fun to go to a show alone than not go to a show at all (usually).
