Slayer: Live Intrusion coming out on DVD

Finally.

I had it on VHS 15 years ago. I still have it somewhere, but no VCR to watch it on. Great concert and it was recorded by NFL Films.

SLAYER's first ever home video, Live Intrusion issued on VHS in 1995, will be issued on DVD this summer according to Slayerized.com:

"Filmed on Slayer's Divine Intervention tour at the Mesa Amphitheater in Mesa, Arizona, on March 12, 1995, Live Intrusion features classic performances of 'Raining Blood', 'At Dawn They Sleep' and 'Hell Awaits', as well as a cover version of the VENOM song 'Witching Hour' performed by Slayerwith Chris Kontos and Robb Flynn of MACHINE HEAD."

The release is schedule for August 16th in the UK and August 27th in Germany. It is now available for pre-order here.

As evidenced by the concert I was at last week, every band should cover "Witching Hour" or "In League With Satan" at concerts.

Crazy how even back then, the band ignored Show No mercy tracks when choosing a setlist.

Let's be honest, excluding those tracks in the mid-nineties was even more likely than it is now.

2 isn't terrible, I think the bad thing is that it's usually the same 2. More than you ever hear from Megadeth's first album.

I get that confused with Die By The Sword all the time and I don't know why.
