Question for those near St. Louis
Where's the best place for metal shows there? I'm going to be there for about a week and a half in August and I was wondering if there would be anything good while I'm in town. The only place I could find was the Fubar..anywhere else?

The Pagent has good shows on occasion.

The Pageant is really nice but I wouldn't really want to see a metal show there. It has a very un-metal atmosphere and setup. Good to see Tegan and Sara there though.

The Pageant is a great venue and I have seen many good metal shows there. Unfortunately, St. Louis doesn't seem to get many metal shows anymore. Most of the tours skip St. Louis entirely and only hit Chicago. (Indy has the same problem.) I don't know of any good shows in St. Louis in August other than Rush on the 22nd.
