Is it me or are people giving Meteora too much credit? I stopped after Hybrid Theory, maybe I'm not forgiving enough?

I like Meteora more than Hybrid Theory. Initially the other way around but I grew to appreciate the variety of Meteora a lot more. Hybrid Theory tends to bore me now. It's too one-dimensional. It just happened to yield several hits.

No...I knew it wasn't me, I just wasn't sure if my suspicions were correct (which they were - see above). That means my reply was correctly directed.

Yeah I hope they go back to Hybrid Theory style. LP is what initially got me into rock and music, HT and Meteora were some of the first albums I actually bought. And MtM was indeed, shit. Hybrid Theory > Meteora, cause I think I will always love that angry nu metal sound no matter how extreme my music taste has been getting lately with all the hardcore and dm I listen to.

But no one ever gives Reanimation credit. Go listen to that again, their most experimental and diverse album with some great ideas that the band should have branched at. Krwlng(or whatever) was even kinda atmospheric.
