Can You Say Mismatched Euro Tour?

I still like both bands but I couldn't help but not post this for the biggest WTF moment of the day:

Norwegian symphonic black metallers DIMMU BORGIR will launch the first leg of their "Darkness Reborn World Tour" by supporting KORN on the following dates:

Sep. 19 - HMH, Amsterdam, NETH
Sep. 23 - Eishalle Seutweg, Winterthur, SWI
Sep. 24 - Zenith, Munich, GER
Sep. 26 - Gasometer, Vienna, AUT
Oct. 01 - Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, BEL
Oct. 02 - Rosengarten, Mannheim, GER
Oct. 03 - Palladium, Cologne, GER
Oct. 05 - Haus-Auensee, Leipzig, GER
Oct. 06 - C-Halle, Berlin, GER

So much to say I'm exhausted @ the thought... Begin....

lmfao. Seems about right for the way Dimmu's been heading. Although I thought Cradle of Filth would be a better fit.

That's not that mismatched.
Both boring and unreasonably popular bands that play "metal".

I only like Dimmu's early stuff, but didn't Dimmu turn down opening for Korn a few years back because they didn't like their music or something?

This isn't all that surprising, especially since Finntroll opened for Korn for a few shows they did in Scandinavia a few years ago.

This tour would never happen in the states. I've noticed when mainstream metal bands like Korn and Slipknot tour and bring out more extreme bands with them those tours usually happen in Europe.

Damn I guess I never really thought about it but now that you say so that does sound right. Give it up for free thinking Europeans!!! Hard to imagine why most of the amazing metal festivals are in Europe.
