Should Slayer Have 2 Different Set Lists?
Should Slayer start using a "new" setlist and an "old" setlist while touring? Perhaps one tour could focus mainly on newer material (post Seasons) and another on older material (Seasons and before).
Here's how I'd do it: NEW 1. Darkness of Christ 2. Disciple 3. Bitter Peace 4. Fictional Reality 5. Dittohead 6. Cult 7. Hate Worldwide 8. Stain of Mind 9. Raining Blood 10. Jihad 11. Killing Fields 12. Psychopathy Red 13. Scrum/Point (rotate) 14. Chemical Warfare ---------------------- 15. World Painted Blood 16. Sex. Murder. Art ---------------------- 17. Snuff/Supremist/Circle of Beliefs (rotate) 18. Angel of Death OLD 1. Raining Blood 2. Hell Awaits 3. War Ensamble 4. Jesus Saves 5. Evil Has no Boundaries 6. Seasons in the Abyss 7. Silent Scream 8. Ghosts of War 9. Die by the Sword 10. At Dawn They Sleep 11. Chemical Warfare 12. Captor of Sin 13. Haunting the Chapel 14. Spirit in Black ---------------------------- 15. South of Heaven 16. War Ensemble ---------------------------- 17. Praise of Death/Black Magic/Aggressive Perfector (rotate) 18. Angel of Death |

![]() I do think it'd be cool though if they added some Divine Intervention songs in, that's a very overlooked album. "Fictional Reality", "Dittohead", and "Sex.Murder.Art" are all great songs.

I think what they're doing right now is fine. But a "new" setlist for Slayer wouldn't work as well as say what Maiden is doing right now. Diablous in Musica and God Hates Us All wern't well recieved at all. Slayer is in my top 2 bands ever, and I think those albums are pretty bad (save a few songs).

Save Disciple, which is pretty unanimously considered their best Post-Seasons song.

I wouldn't. That would be awesome. I love seeing bands pull out unconventional setlists.

Dammit. I knew I would forget something
![]() Obviously, the old setlist would go over much better than the new, but sometimes it feels like Slayer shoe horns in new songs just because they have to. They could do a tour of just new stuff and get it all out of their system for a while. |
