Palldia HD has some metal related shows on tonight
Palladia (formerly MHD) is a 1080i high definition music television network that shows music-related content from its owner, MTV Networks, a division of Viacom. The network broadcasts music programming from MTV, VH1, CMT.

I was just checking my Time Warner guide and it shows three shows in a row.

Note: ALL TIMES EASTERN

That Metal Show Presents: Download Festival 2009 - 6pm-7:30pm

Iron Maiden: Somewhere Back in Time Live - 7:30pm-9pm

Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage - 9pm-11:30pm (not metal but a band loved by many metal fans)

Does it matter? Two of those broadcasts are available (and probably more complete) on DVD and the other is almost guaranteed to be recorded and shared soon.

My Dad gets this channel. Dokken closed out the Download 2009 show and it was so boring. I know now for sure that I'll never be seeing Dokken live.

Journey kicked ass, though.

Actually, that was Def Leppard but it was pretty meh. Highlights were Faith No More and Journey (which sounded great with their youtube singer).
