I agree, death metal is an acquired taste. Not everyone makes the leap to it from prog or nu metal, heavy or power metal. Or whatever other leaps people make.

Personally I went from prog/power/folk to melodic death and doom and then death/black.

Wombbath had to cancel. They've been replaced by Cruciamentum. May be another announcement on the horizon.
