"Fuck This, I'm Out" and "The Eyes of Death" were written on the setlist but weren't played, which fucking sucks. They also didn't play either album closer from their two full-lengths ("I Hope You Know" and "Clear the Air") which have a different vibe than a lot of their stuff but totally fucking rule, so that blew as well. Great set, but it definitely left me wanting more. Felt like a partial set, but maybe the venue told them to wrap it up. Whatever.

Openers were The Raging Nathans, who were as generic as possible if not more, and Dear Landlord who were actually pretty awesome and up the same alley as OWTH.

FUCKING DEAR LANDLORD PLAYED TOO?!? Goddamnit I hate you so much.

That does seem like a really short set. I would love to see them play "Your Child Is Dead," that's one of my favorites.

Well, as long as I can make one person on a metal message board jealous by seeing a punk show, I'm satisfied.

I don't really have any beefs with their song selection, just that I'd rather they did about ten more songs. And cutting two songs that they wrote down on the setlist is inexcusable.

BTW, if you're into this stuff (get Dream Homes by Dear Landlord, it rules), you should check out Banner Pilot too. Collapser was my most-listened-to album of last year by far.

Will do. I dug the Dillinger Four that I checked out a lot, too, but I couldn't really get into the vocals. Off With Their Heads might be my favorite post-80s-formed punk band though, I've really come to love their shit.

I kinda like A Wilhelm Scream....I haven't heard any OFTH studio stuff, so I dont know how they compare.

A Wilhelm Scream are way more technically proficient than OWTH...or most other punk bands, for that matter.

Oh, it definitely works for them. They're fucking awesome. Contrary to popular belief, technical skill does have a place in punk. Propagandhi, The Minutemen, NoMeansNo, Bad Religion, Fugazi, and Strung Out are all good examples of this.
