I didn't intend for this to be a "post pictures of you with musicians" thread, by the way. I mean if people want to take it there, whatever, but I wasn't going to post anyway.

By the way, my pictures I take with musicians are to remember the experience in the event that it's a really fond memory or someone I really idolize. It's not like: "Well here's the awkward obligatory horns picture". My photo in a New York Diner with Manticora at 4AM is completely genuine, it was the summation of 2 days of good times and random fun at two shows. I don't stop people to get pictures, but if it's a real relaxed environment and I've said what I wanted to say, I'll go for it unless I sense some sort of a weird vibe.

I realize now that I should have added this to my post when I wrote it up...

I'm not a band stalker. About 90% of all the bands I've met were at a venue called Station 4 in St. Paul, MN and to anyone who has ever been there, you know that because of the size of the place the bands actually come out to you and start haning out. The other occasions were meet and greets and the two occasions where I did wait out by the bus (John Petrucci and the bassist of From Monument To Masses).

Also my hair has gotten a bit longer since then, not shoulder length, but getting there. Also less weight.

I am very jealous of the above material, especially the Mastodon and Ozzy related memorabilia.

My biggest regreat was not sticking around after seeing Mastodon/Kylesa/Intronaut. According to the whole tour, 20 minutes after the equipment was off stage, all 4 guys came out and hung out with crowd. I left about 10 minutes after realizing that I couldn't get Brann's setlist which was taped to his drum carpet.

Also LOVE the Vinnie Paul and Gene Hoglan autographs, 2 of my biggest inspirations behind the drums.
