So what's the general consensus about this remake? I loved watching the original every chance I got when I was a kid, along with Jason and the Argonauts... but I'm worried the remake will focus too much on battle choreography and special effects. I say this because the original was hailed for having groundbreaking special effects that were ahead of its time, and now any director who goes to remake it will try to get the same reaction.
