I don't quite think you can say that they will never make an album of Leviathan's caliber again.

They already did

Again, I'll believe it when I see it anywhere other than 4chan.

I can say it with about 75% sureness, considering the direction they've headed in.

They can make an album just as good with a different sound. If you want the exact same album again you aren't going to get it.

Mastodon were much better at making music using their Leviathan sound than they are with the things they've been going for after that.

Blood Mountain/Crack the Skye were both definitely more of "my thing" in terms of style, but I also think they are definitely much less awesome.

Hey Buddy, I know it's your birthday but you just might need a kick in the ass for starting this rumor that Brann FINALLY put to rest:

We're not breaking up. I don't know what any of us would do, we love the music that we make together too much to end it now. It's the furthest thing from anyones mind. Bill needs to get better and he's doing that, the rest of us are resting up, living our lives and looking forward to working on new music and doing that Alice and chains Deftones tour.

Our artistic well has not run dry by any means, one of our brothers just needs to get well, that's all. Thank you all so much for being so understanding, especially those of you who were looking forward to seeing us in Europe next month.

As much as we want to do those shows, we feel like the best thing for us to do is to let Bill heal up and come back full strength, as it should be. I hope to see you all very soon.
Your Fan,
Brann.
