If you read between the lines they say that Paul was "the essence" of Slipknot.

With that in mind I would say that they will split up.

Too Bad. Their first two albums and the live-record were great stuff indeed...

I wouldn't go say that just yet. If Metallica can continue on without Cliff and AIC can start over without Layne, there's no reason to believe that Slipknot can't do the same

Just because they do continue doesn't mean they should.

They won't break up, they're way too conceited about being the "best band in the world" and their "impact on the metal scene" to break up.

And I'm not trying to be an ass, but that's 100% how I'm viewing it. If you've ever read an interview with some of the members, you might agree with me.

they are not going to split up. Paul wouldnt want that. He would want them to go on

Dude, they're going to be bigger than Metallica, of course they wouldn't break up.
