Sonisphere Festival - This is just ridicoulous!

Okay. Just one thing that I really need to get out of my chest.

Late last year it was announced that Sonisphere should return to Sweden in 2010. They annunced Iron Maiden as headliner whiched sealed the deal for me.

Then they announced a line-up consisting of
- Heaven & Hell
- Mötley Crüe
- Slayer
- Alice Cooper
- Anthrax
- Iggy & The Stooges

And they said: More bands to come...

Since Iron Maiden are huge over here. They didn´t have any trouble at all selling all of the 45 000 tickets to this event. And then sadly Heaven & Hell cancelled (RIP Dio).

Today. They released the final bands, or I meant band. The only addition to the line-up was Hammerfall. The festival obviously didn´t want to book any more bands since the festival was already sold-out.

Even though the line-up is quite good (don´t care much for Mötley or Hammerfall though). I still fell a little bit ripped off here. Only seven bands at a festival? That is far too few. And when the last band released is Hammerfall (which totally sucks) I get really upset.

Big Chance that I will go to any Sonisphere Festival after this...

You know the UK version has 78 bands and they're not finished yet...

Admittedly at least 50 of them suck. I would rather go to your one. Compact, all good bands, all will get a decent length set, whereas the UK one will end up with big bands playing 30 minutes.

Our big festival suck, so don't feel too hard done by.

I wouldn't complain when you're seeing Anthrax, Slayer, and Iron Maiden at the same show.

+1.

My goodness. Sometimes I wonder how and why people complain.

Holy shit - 78 bands, and less than 10 I'd actually want to see.

Yeah, I only counted 7...and a lot of those were "yeah, sure, I'll see them if I'm at a fest..." sort of things.

If there were any more you would be missing bands you wanted to see left and right because of shuffling between stages, wouldn't you?
