I honestly think our local bands are some of the best in the country. I don't mean huge signed bands (because we have Origin and Manilla Road, your argument is invalid) but local d00ds. Here's some of them:

Sounds like: Warbringer, early Metallica, early Exodus.

Black/Viking
Sounds like: Early Enslaved, Windir, Burzum.

Shred Scare

Crossover Thrash/Punk
Sounds like: D.R.I., Municipal Waste

Coalesce (this is kind of cheating, but oh well)

Old-school metalcore/mathcore
Sounds like: Converge, Botch, poser-destroying metalcore.

Sounds like: Origin, Sepsism, Embryonic Devourment
