I am actually in love with Kesha's track 'Take it Off'. I've been listening to so much pop music it's crazy...

Ke$ha represents many things that people don't like about pop these days. She's auto-tuned to the bejeezus. She's more slutty than she should be for her age, and certainly for her target demographic. Many people on here despise her and / or her work immensely, and to tell you the truth, I can understand some of that.

That said, I can't seem to get enough of her song "Your Love Is My Drug". That joynt is just so damn catchy it just makes me fucking sick (and at the same time, I just seem to want more and more). It's a perfect pop song - it's quite simply addicting and unforgettable, and it makes you want to dance. Her performance of that song on SNL a few months ago was pretty cool, too - what with the fluorescent body paint and all.

add Four Year Strong to my list. they've become one of my new favorite and most listened to bands in the past few months. the heavy pop punk bands with a lot of hardcore influence have been attracting to me lately.
