Yeah, this. The band which springs immediately to mind for me is Annihilator. There was a period where the whole band changed pretty much album to album except for Jeff Waters.

Dave Padden seems settled now, and his vocal style is so suited to Annihilator's music, I'm happy with that. Great rhythm guitarist too. But I'm sure in the two/three years since I last saw them the bassist and drummer have changed at least twice.

It doesn't matter because Annihilator is Jeff, and always was.
