Merciless Death and Hirax with Overkill and Forbidden would be amazing.

Would be cool if Vader was still on there, end at least Warbringer put out one awesome album, unlike Evile and Bonded by Blood. Makes me wish I had gone to see the first leg.
I used to not give Evile the time of day, but then I listened to them a bit and I think they're pretty good.

But then again, I know how you are with new thrash.

I've actually heard the entirety of Enter the Grave, haven't listened to the other one, but I saw a music video where a bunch of people were coming at them through a plastic wall and it was shit.

Bonded by Blood I've never heard an album from, but I saw them live.

I would've said Exmortus, but I suggest them for everything.

Also thought of maybe D666 or Absu, but that style would clash so hard with Overkill.

Well, I have seen them a couple of times, but I missed them this year. That is mainly why I am hoping they add some more dates. Ironbound is excellent and I would love to hear some of those songs live.

Seeing the Killfest bill minus Overkill tonight at Club Hell, so it'll be cool to see Overkill and Forbidden there in November. It's a Sunday, and two days after Nile. Definitely in for this one.

Between those two & Epica, November's already shaping up to be awesome.

Yep, same. Not that I can really bitch, I definitely could go to the Starland Ballroom show if I wanted to, but the way money is and given how much I genuinely like Overkill, I can't justify it.

Evile are far and away my favourite young thrash band at the moment, then Savage Messiah, who I don't see you getting over there for some time. Not live anyway.

Bonded By Blood I don't mind on record, never seen them live. Gama Bomb I've seen twice and they were terrible. I like Merciless Death, so agree on them.

Seen Warbringer too. Found both their albums pretty generic and boring, and they were the same live (supporting Testament).

The one thing I usually don't understand with regards to new thrash bands is how people can call Evile generic. I mean, they play heavier, thicker riffs than a lot of them, and are pretty much the only band not trying to rip off 1980s Exodus (hello Toxic Holocaust, Dekapitator, Violator etc.). Particularly the whiny vocals desperate to be Steve Souza or Paul Baloff. I don't hear many other bands with vocals like theirs. They also don't play the generic riffs over persistent (read: boring) thrash-drums-by-numbers. I think they have far more groove than most of the others. I get not liking groove in thrash, but they're one of the least generic bands doing it right now.

On older bands, more people need to take Exhorder out, damnit.
