IRON MAIDEN - FINAL FRONTIER VIRTUAL SHOW ! - Friday May 21 st 2010

Regarding this friday’s virtual show:


When I first heard the news that Ronnie past away yesterday I was a bit in shock, because I thought that he was well, I thought he was doing better, I think I read somewhere on the net from Wendy that he had some treatment & was better, anyway, didn’t really followed the internet much regarding his condition. Shame On Me !!! This is probably due to the fact that I don’t really listen to him that much anymore, Shame on me again !


Dio was one my first hero when I started to listen to metal and the Sacred Heart tour was my 2 nd show ever. I have roughly 90 % of everything he ever recorded so I think I can come up with a solid setlist as an opening act to the mighty Maiden. The Only thing is that a 55 minutes set (the time I was gonna do Dream Theater) is really not enough to pay him justice, at least to play everything that needs to be played. So I’ll do a 100 minutes set & I will try to mix the essentials & a few of my faves. Of course I cannot play all his timeless classics , he has too much. So forgive me in advance for maybe not playing your favourite song. Also I won’t be posting some Ronnie songs presentation or rant like I usually do in a virtual show. Just the songs will do fine. Also let's try to get in a party mood, like Ronnie would like us to be, not a time to be sad & unhappy, at least let
's try to listen to this great music that will live on forever


After that, Maiden will follow like it was planned.
