Rock N' Roll gives me a perfect SOL score
I'm not sure if other states have this test, but in VA, every 10th grader must take a Writing exam near the end of the year called the SOL. Our writing prompt was to write about somebody you admire. So, I wrote about Angus Young of AC/DC, the band that got me into rock and metal.
Today, I got my score back, I recieved a 600, which is a perfect score ![]() Thankya Angus!

Shit Outta Luck?
Reminds me of in junior high we had like four standardized writing things and one of them was a paper instructing how to do something, and the instructors even said that they wouldn't recommend how to play a game. I wrote, from memory, how to do Tanker chapter of Metal Gear Solid 2 and I was the only kid in the school to get a perfect score.

I remember taking the SOL's... they introduced them when I was in the fourth grade.
They were (and still are, I'm sure) a bunch of state compiled standards that at times don't even follow the curriculum used by a school. I think the scores were low for several years because we didn't even cover half the things that were on the tests. at any rate... congrats on the perfectness |
