Fireball Ministry -- Hollywood, CA -- April 19th, 2010

So I can't fucking believe that I saw Dave Lombardo perform with his side project Philm, standing at a distance of barely six feet away from him in a tiny little club called the Troubadour in West Hollywood tonight.

Check this out. Right now!!

Video of Dave playing Symptom of the Universe cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqGC4imKRas

Pictures (LOTS of pics of Dave): http://metalassault.com/image.php?y=...Philm&d=19&i=1

Fireball Ministry were fucking great too. They ended the night with Snowblind which was fun. Their original stuff was really good too.

Set list:
Flatline
Brad
Kick Back
End Of Story
Death Dealer
Fallen Believers
Butcher
Sundown
Broken
King
Snowblind (Black Sabbath)

Full review to be posted soon.

P.S. I met Dave and got my Slayer shoe signed by him.

How was Philm? I've been following them with their youtube performances as much as I can. They seem like a badass band. Kind of remind me of old Helmet. Hopefully they reclease a demo or EP soon
