BLACK PYRAMID Announces US Headlining Tour

Fast-rising doom rock trio BLACK PYRAMID has announced May US tour dates in support of it's full length debut ,Black Pyramid (MeteorCity Records). The power-driven band will launch a 16 city tour beginning May 5th in Wallingford, CT. The tour’s official admat can be viewed on the left (click image to enlarge).

Known for its dynamic sound that blends towering riff cosmos with magnetic psychedelic rock, Black Pyramid has been turning heads in the underground music world since its formation in late 2007; the response to its demo and debut 7? was such that the unit’s name spread even faster than its music.

The band’s instantly agreeable bang and spectacular live shows have pegged it as an “artist to watch” and has garnered the trio an army of loyal enthusiasts. Black Pyramid’s thunderous tone, fire-eating licks, lyrical bent and single-minded devotion to music has drawn comparison to big guns such as ELECTRIC WIZARD, TORCHE and the pre-HIGH ON FIRE band SLEEP. Now, the group prepares to prove its potency by bringing its notorious live show to new markets and music fans.

“This is the first time we've ventured from our established dominion in the Northeast, and we're geared up to conquer some new territory,” dishes
Black Pyramid guitarist / vocalist Andy Beresky when asked for comment. “We're taking the live show to the masses, and we're expecting to leave a trail of new converts in our wake."

Touring alongsideBlack Pyramid on the two week tour will be the powerful CELTIC FROST-inspired Atlanta quartet (and MeteorCity label mates) LET THE NIGHT ROAR.

As I was informed by everyone at Deceased the other night, they are awesome. I was pretty much ordered to show up at Ralph's or die. I'm embarrassed that I haven't heard them yet since they're from my home town . Also, you might want to double check which of these shows are 21+.

Yeah. I know Ralph's is 21+, which is sort of sad because Sexcrement are on the bill. I can't seem to find any info about The 201 in Providence besides a website with the address on it, so not sure about that one.

Okay, so, maybe I might not have as many options as originally counted, but maybe there's one or two. I'll have to look.
