Slough Feg -- Austin, TX -- April 6th, 2010

I can't recall everything played, so I'm gonna list what I know was played, and then what I can't recall.

I know they played-

Spinward Marches
High Passage Low Passage
Eumaeus the Swineherd
Tiger Tiger
Shakedown at the Six
Hiberno-Latin Invasion
Baltech's Lament
Wulf Dreemz

Can't recall-

The Pangs of Ulster (almost guarantee)
Addendum Galactus (?)
another one from Traveller
another one that I can't recall
possibly one more that I can't recall

great show, Mike Scalzi rules

I've got all their shit and like it, I just don't see how only doing one song each from their last two records possibly constitutes a good set.

Depends on the circumstances. It's very possible.

I guess it's just that I think Slough Feg have steadily improved over the course of their career and that their last two records have also been their two best.

Traveller is probably my favorite by them, but I can understand how you like the recent stuff more.

I enjoy the sheer melting pot of influences they have. I hear everything from Thin Lizzy, Early Iron Maiden, Manilla Road, Brocas Helm, folk, hell i've heard a few melodies in their music that kinda sounded like early Gothenburg melodic death metal!
