I like the return to the original logo, but come on.

I don't think that's the reason Zakk was let go. That was just some bull shit they feed everyone. I think Zakk's drinking and the health issues that followed were the main reason for him getting let go. Ozzy knows Zakk personally and wouldn've noticed those probelms before any of the fans would've known.

I don't think Ozzy or Sharon wanted Zakk to go, as evident by Gus G's flat out duplication of his sound. They fired Zakk for his own good. They probably didn't wanna see him continue to destroy himself with alcohol like Ozzy did.

Of course this is all just speculation on my part. But it makes more sense than letting him go because they wanted a new sound.

In recent videos Zakk has been more coherent, funnier, and more jovial than I've ever seen him before, so there could be something to the health side. He was joking with Ozzy in an interview they were trying to get out of him at the Golden Gods about getting fired too, so they're clearly cool about it. Young, complete amateur of an interview didn't know what to do with Zakk's jokes He said he had a sex change op and is going to hang his award from his new labia to stretch it out.

He has swapped alcoholism for a new addiction though. Twitter. Fucking hell does he love that shit.

Updated, video here
Good thing this isn't another overproduced, generic sounding Ozzy album with some other guy who plays solos and pinch harmonics just like Zakk.

The solo is more Gus than Zakk IMO, the rest of the song is pretty standard Ozzy, but the solo has a few different tricks in it than zakks standard stuff.
