The word "thug" has racial connotations and you know it. I'm totally fine with people not liking sports, but I'm not a big fan of ignorant assertions about people.

it is my belief that baseball takes more skill than football.

and before you reply know that im willing to argue this to the point until nothing makes sense anymore.

Its a good thing I am working on putting the finishing touches on an anti-gun control paper for class, or else i would try to have a pointless argument about something barely care about.

Alright, well, take away where I said the two words "inherently racist" and the rest of my post is totally valid if you insist that that part isn't. The NBA is probably the most clean-cut, community-oriented, big-hearted league in the world - and not just big-hearted because of all the seven-footers with palpitations and murmurs.

It's change a LOT since the 90s. I agree that there was a very thuggish era, but it's over, and if the world's view of the NBA is seriously what you guys believe then David Stern should just resign because all the hard work he's put into cleaning up the league has been in vain. It's easy to believe the convenient stereotypes or act like the entire league is made up of J.R. Smiths and Chris Andersens, but that simply isn't the reality of it. Again, I implore you to look up NBA Cares and realize that this is a league of sportsmanship and community with relatively few exceptions.
