Opinion: Best bands of all time

Now, I don't know if this kind of topic already exists. I tried searching for it, didn't come up with any results. If its already there, mods are welcome to move this to that thread.

Here's my 2 cents on the topic. I wrote this couple of nights back.

I'll think about this another time, but one thing I will say (and I haven't read through your entire piece yet), is that your list is rather predictable... that's not to say "obvious" is a reason to NOT include a band, of course.

I guess it comes down to how you define "best band". Is it ability? Importance/impact? Because in that case it can only possibly be old bands.

This has always been an interesting question.

Well yeah it was just that these thoughts were going on inside my head and I decided to put them in an article form. I know its predictable. As to how I defined them as best, ability and impact both.
