Those are just the biggest...

I only included Slough Feg because I was listening to them at the time. If I were to go into detail, jeez, that would be quite the list.

Got "The Extra Dimensional Wound" by Lightning Swords of Death the other day, very good album.

A friend of mine put the new Brain Drill on my computer, and it was good, but I just thought it was obnoxiously technical.

yeah I agree with you on that. I kinda liked it and it was definitely good. But it's just not something I'd listen to very much. I get why people like it though.

there's a point where over technicality just isn't really music. I think Brain Drill like to play hopscotch with that line.

Well, to be fair it's still music. But it does annoy the fuck outta me.

I kinda dig the new Brian Drill, but not something I'll be putting on a lot from this point forward.

I liked the two songs I heard from the new Brain Drill, but I also realized it's something I couldn't sit through for the duration of a CD without blowing my brains out.

Hell, I can't even listen to Obscura, and I know a lot of folks on here love them.

I do like Obscura, but there's a big difference in the "overtechnicality levels". I think Obscura is around or on the same level of The Sound of Perseverance-era Death, and it's not annoying to me.

But it doesn't suprise me that it would be too much for some people
