You really think Zombie is more popular than Alice Cooper right now? I don't see it...

I think so. Zombie has had more recent success album sales wise. Cooper hasn't had a platinum album in the US in 20 years. You also gotta factor in Zombie's recent success in his movie ventures, so he deffinately has more "buzz" to his name still.

I did see Cooper in 2007 when he was supporting Heaven & Hell. He blew their show away and more people were there for Cooper than H&H. So maybe he has become more popular agian in recent years. Still Zombie is more popular right now in terms of who a lot of people are more likely to buy a ticket and go see live.

Sure, Cooper tours endlessly it seems but i'm not sure how many younger fans he gains and how much it really has an impact on his album sales. I think people go to see him more for the show then the actually music he plays. That's just the impression I get. As long as Cooper sticks with stuff from the 70s the crowd is with him. But with the exception of Poison the crowd is completely clueless when he perfoms any other non 70s song.

What ravenheart has said is the only reason I put a "?" in the title, Zombie with Alice makes sense and would be a show I'd go to. The KISS announcement is rumored to be a reality show based around replacing Gene and Paul. Of course this would suck and just about every hardcore KISS fan would most likely hang themselves over this including me.

Someone on another board said that Rob said that "USA" fans need to not to be excited so if KISS/Rob/Alice did UK dates together it wouldn't "shock me" (pun intended)

In this country, Cooper without question. But we aren't lucky enough to get a bill like Cooper and Zombie.

With Zombie's irrational hatred of doing any real touring, it's far more likely his is a US tour.

If the rumour that KISS's announcement is a reality show turns out to be true, they have SERIOUSLY misjudged what makes a "massive" announcement, and their fan base in general.

Yay! No KISS! I really hope they give conventional dates for this one, I'd love to attend this.

And it's not coming to Europe. What a shock. Thanks Rob.

Don't worry, if youve seen the dates, its not really coming to the US either.

That was kind of a bust. Oh well, I'd much rather see Alice without Rob some other time.

And when the KISS announcement tomorrow ends up being that they'll be special guests to ELP at the High Voltage Festival in London on July 25th, this whole thing will end up being a huge disappointment

Mind you, the routing is clearly not finished, so whining too early is silly
