I'm sure we all know which of these songs the members of Freedom Call would choose

So lemme break it down for yall. If you chose Stairway you may tend to value in your rock: neoclassicism, non-standard time signatures, metaphorical lyrics, tenor/falsetto vocals, a sense of mystery and fantasy. If you chose Freebird you may tend to value in your rock: the blues, strong rhythm, visceral lyrics, baritone/mid-to-lower range vocals, a sense of nature relating to both urban and rural landscapes.

While that is a very erudite analysis, I'd say I gravitate towards both of these things pretty equally outside of the simple Stairway-vs.-Freebird question.

EDIT: Eh, you're probably right. Clutch are my favorite rock band, and it's pretty clear where they come from out of those two.
