Ah, I knew this news was coming soon, but you beat me to it. Nice one.

Doomriders and Caspian are both tempting, but the first group of gigs isn't really anywhere near me, so I guess that makes my decision easier.

Caspian is one of my favorite post-rock bands...their latest album, "Tertia", is ranked very highly on that list that I'll probably never get done and no one cares about any more.

Seriously, this is awesome news. If I got to see both Red Sparowes and Caspian for the first time on the same night, I might just poop a little. I wish they were coming closer than Chicago, though. That gig is on a Wednesday night, too - I have no idea how I'm gonna make that happen. Shit.

Yeah...I've never heard of any of these bands but I know you like Red Sparrowes so I posted these.

Damn what a rip, Caspian for Doomriders Seen Red Sparowes a couple times at the same place, first time following Saviours they were great, second time following Russian Circles they couldn't hold their jock.

Personally, I think Caspian and Doomriders are both totally awesome, but in completely different ways...and Red Sparowes can't hold Russian Circles' jock - not even close - but that doesn't mean Sparowes are not awesome.

Yeah forsure I liked the Red Heart album enough to buy the vinyl, dunno where I stand on them now. Mostly indifferent I guess.

...that little discovery at the top of the list was the best news I have heard for quite some time. I am stoked beyond comprehension. I have been waiting for several years to see both of these bands live, and they are playing together, on a weekend (well, it's a Sunday, but that's good enough for me). Nice.
