Now I Lay Thee Down two nights in a row now
![]() All they need to do is get the stuff off TBR and SC outta the set so they have more room to play good stuff. Are their fans of them who really like that material at all? |

I think I'm the one MH fan that enjoys Supercharger. The Burning Red has a few good ones, but I'd honestly say supercharger is my favorite by them, it's really fun to drum to. The new stuff is ok enough, I guess I'm just not a huge fan of the band. To each his own I suppose.

This headline tour needs to come to the States. I don't know how many people agree with me, but I think The Blackening should be played in its entirety. I have yet to find Machine Head fans who think that it isn't anything short of amazing....A Farewell to Arms live would just be orgasmic.

A headlining tour in North America for The Blackening just wouldn't work here now. It'll be three years in March since it was released and too much time as passed now for them to support it here since the album isn't that "new" anymore. They should've done an NA headline tour after coming off of their great performances as the second stage headliner on Mayhem 2008. That would've been the right time since they stole the show(at least the one I went to) and they would've been able to ride the extra wave of fame that tour gave them and used that to help ticket sales for their own tour. But unfortunately they found it was better for their career to open for Metallica for a year instead. Not that it was a bad move or anything, but when you've got so many fans here wanting to see them on their own they really should've done everything they could've to make that happen. |
