Both are great, but I'm in a huge minority that prefers Neon Bible.

I don't see how this doesn't work. Makes sense to me. Sure, his #1 won't have as much weight as someone else's, but if it's a matter of him not submitting one, I don't think it matters. Otherwise, just use the normal scale and points. It's not the end of the world. One list probably isn't going to dramatically shit the balance of this list.

But I gotta be honest, I can't understand how someone couldn't find 20 albums from this decade they really liked. I originally put a list together only intending it to be 10, then it became 20, and I almost felt obligated to expand it further. I almost considered making a top 50 of the decade.

Erm. An extremely small minority. The minority status is what is huge.

This. Really, Josh? You didn't like an average of two albums per year?

Oh, and Jeff: I'd love to comfort you by saying something you like just barely missed the cut, but I didn't even really consider anything else you listen to. This decade was just too fucking good for genres you have no interest in. I bet our 80s lists would have a lot more common ground.

I don't know, I just thought you shared my love for albums like Hellfire Club and The Inner Circle.

Wooo. One album that definitely made my list, and the other 3 would probably all make my top 35, which is still a huge deal for me.
