IOMMI autobiography
According to Publishersweekly.com, Foundry Literary + Media cofounder Peter McGuigan completed a six-figure North American rights deal, at auction, with Ben Schafer of Da Capo for BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi's Iron Man, a memoir due out later this year. McGuigan, who described Iommi as one of the forebears of heavy metal, called the book a genre-bending rockology/life story that is “Angela's Ashes meets The Ground Beneath Her Feet meets Spinal Tap.”
If true, I'm all over this to go with Ronnie's

Release dates currently set at October 13 in the UK (via Simon & Schuster, a real publisher) and November 1 in the US (via Da Capo Press, a clearly made-up publisher).
Title is 'Iron Man: My Life With Black Sabbath And Beyond'.

Oh fuck yes, this should be great. Tony is just such a frank guy, and usually doesn't say a whole lot, so it should be interesting to hear his take on all things Black Sabbath. I don't doubt this will be interesting. Can't wait!
