That album is absolutely killer. I would understand the negative reaction if I only liked heavy The Ocean material, but I love it all. I think the album lags just a bit in the middle, but once you get to Swallowed by the Earth it has some of the best material of the year. MetalSucks says they'll be touring the US in the fall-ish, and I'll jump at the chance to hear some of this stuff live.

I don't know if I'm alone on this but I feel like the new Watain album that's coming out is going to be a huge fucking deal.

I still have to listen to Heliocentric.....

I'm excited for Iron Maiden and Control Denied (if this is indeed the year), above all else. After that, looking forward to Testament, Blind Guardian, Gojira's EP, Kataklysm, Symphony X, The Sword, Death Angel....and the Goo Goo Dolls. Hehe.
