songs/bands you're ashamed to admit you used to listen to..

..but still play every now and then even after you're ashamed to admitting it.

i don't know if this topic ever existed but here it is.

i do listen to a lot of extreme metal and other types of metal a lot but sometimes i am not in the mood for it at all, so i'll put on something that i used to listen to back in the day. for laughs and/or reminiscing to myself or with friends.

here's some stuff i used to listen to a lot but still listen to on some occasions:

Hoobastanks S/T album
Saliva's first 2 albums
Papa Roach's first 2 albums
Adema's first 2 albums
some stuff by Crazy Town
Limp Bizkit's first 3 albums
Linkin Park's first 2 albums
some songs by Usher
some songs by Eminem

if i remember later i'll post some more 'cause i know there's a lot more.

I still like some Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, and very little Korn. I'm not that ashamed, even though I probably should be haha

I have all the Linkin Park albums except for their latest. I honestly think they had a great combination of rap and hard rock that wasn't annoying (Kid Rock) and they both complimented each other, but their newest was universal garbage.

I don't really feel ashamed about it, but there's a few bands I listen to occasionally that's purely a nostalgic enjoyment. Disturbed and Korn being the most prominent of that sort. I probably wouldn't like their songs at all if they weren't songs I had once loved 8 years ago.

Yeah I actually really, really liked Linkin Park's earlier work as well. HT and Meteora were pretty much the essential albums of my middle school years.
