New Gamma Ray Album Info

Well, so much for a good title. Seriously "To the Metal" is about the gayest title ever, not to mention it really doesn't make that much sense. If they're trying to make a Manowar album, this was the title to go for. Not to mention the song itself seems totally bland based on the live videos I've seen.

That being said, all the other stuff seems like good news. I sense this will be a relatively experimental album (by Gamma Ray standards, that is), with varied song styles and not so many borrowed riffs and song structures, as opposed to the last record. The band have never made an album with Kai on vocals that I'd give less than an 85% to, so this essentially is good news.

The line in full goes "Hail to the Metal," why didn't they just call it that? Would make much more sense.

True. It would be easily just as gay if not gayer, but at least it would make sense.

That album title is one of the worst I've heard in quite a while. Hopefully album is better than LOTF II, easily my least favorite Gamma Ray record.

Well, I don't consider those "true" Gamma Ray releases, but if you count those than no, not worse than the Scheepers albums

Well in that case, carry on, for I agree.

It's a shame because there are some great songs on all of the first 3 records, the records as a whole just aren't very good. Thankfully, due to Blast From the Past (especially if you can get 'hold of the redone "Rich and Famous" as well", there's almost no reason to ever need the first 3 albums.
