The Crown is Back!!!!
DOBERMANN, the band formed by four former members of the Swedish death/thrash act THE CROWN, has officially changed its name to THE CROWN and has released audio samples of two brand new songs, both of which can be streamed below.

THE CROWN 2009 is:

* Jonas Stålhammar (GOD MACABRE, MACABRE END, ABHOTH) - Vocals
* Marko Tervonen - Rhythm Guitar
* Marcus Sunesson - Lead Guitar
* Magnus Olsfelt - Bass
* Janne Saarenpää - Drums

DOBERMANN earlier in the year parted with vocalist Andreas "Whiplasher Bernadotte" Bergh of the Swedish industrial goth metal band DEATHSTARS and was said to be recording a collection of tunes which were being described as "pure death/thrash metal."

Can't wait to hear it. I just knew those guys would get back together eventually. Too bad Johan Lindstrand isn't along for the ride.

Killer, very underrated band. Cant wait to hear the new stuff. The new singer sounds almost like Johan lol.

If I had the time I'd make a road trip out of it. Me and a bunch of friends driving down to LA while blaring some good ol metal would be fun.
