Chimaira -- Cleveland, OH -- December 27th, 2009

Venue: House of Blues
Source: Me

Awesome show, definitely one of the best, longest and most varied Chimaira shows I've ever been to. This 10th Christmas show was being filmed for an upcoming DVD. Solipsist (my friend's band) opened up and tore the place apart for a half hour. Congrats to them for being asked to open the show. State of Conviction was up next. They ripped as well. Then Chimaira came on and destroyed for about an hour and 45 minutes. Here is the set, not really in order except for the beginning and end of the show:

The Venom Inside
Resurrection
Power Trip
Empire
The Disappearing Sun
Severed
Six
Destroy and Dominate
The Dehumanizing Process (with a Wall of Death)
Dead Inside
Painting the White to Grey
Nothing Remains
Salvation
Secrets of the Dead
The Flame
Pure Hatred
---------------
Implements of Destruction

Awesome show Now I await Chimaira Christmas 11

Dead Inside. Fuck yes. Their best song. Why don't they ever seem to play that live? Awesome you got to hear it.

...and "Implements" - also very funkin' nice. That must have been cool as hell.

EDIT:

I agree they should play it more often. They used to play it back in the day. Mark said right before they played it "That without this song, we wouldn't be where we are now" and then Chris' intro kicked in and the place went nuts!

Well the only things that are out of order would be a few songs in the middle. The first and last five or six songs are correct.
