MOTHER FUCKERS
There's a blog on their myspace
THIS TOUR IS WITH SHINING AND SEPTIC FLESH, plus special guests in select cities.

What the fuck with the lack of New England dates, Behemoth? The tour poster says January-February 2010, though, so hopefully there's more dates TBA...

Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH will once again be returning to North American soil in 2010. This is their first tour in the region since their massively successful summer with the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest. Supporting BEHEMOTH on the Evangelia Amerika tour will be SEPTICFLESH from Greece and SHINING from Sweden.

Tickets will go on sale on November 20, with a November 19 pre-sale through Artist Arena at this location.

Confirmed tour dates are as follows:

Jan. 07 - Philadelphia, PA - Theatre of the Living Arts
Jan. 08 - W. Springfield, VA - Jaxx
Jan. 09 - Raleigh, NC - Volume 11
Jan. 10 - Atlanta, GA - Masquerade
Jan. 11 - Tampa, FL - State Theatre
Jan. 13 - Austin, TX - Emo’s
Jan. 15 - Tucson, AZ - The Rock
Jan. 16 - Los Angeles, CA - House of Blues
Jan. 17 - San Francisco, CA - Slims
Jan. 18 - Portland, OR - Hawthorne Theater
Jan. 19 - Seattle, WA - El Corazon
Jan. 21 - Calgary, AB - Republik
Jan. 22 - Edmonton, AB - The Starlite Room
Jan. 23 - Regina, SK - The District
Jan. 24 - Winnipeg, MB - WECC
Jan. 25 - St. Paul, MN - Station 4
Jan. 26 - Chicago, IL - House of Blues
Jan. 27 - Cleveland, OH - Peabody's
Jan. 28 - Pittsburgh, PA - Mr. Smalls
Jan. 30 - New York, NY - Gramercy Theatre

Behemoth always tours a shitton for albums, so hopefully this isn't the only time we'll see them this year.

I'd like to see this but I'm not sure I'll be able to make it up to Jaxx as I'll be on winter break and back home in southern VA.

What I like about this is that they are playing Peabody's this time, which should mean a ticket price of $15 to $18 (no fees). The last time they played Cleveburg it was at the House of Blues with JFAC , Gojira (who I missed, not knowing how awesome they are at that time ), and a couple of deathcore bands such as Beneath the Massacre and crap like that. It was like $20 plus to see, essentially, Behemoth (in fact, I got there late and that's the only band I saw). Peabody's is a much smaller, more intimate joynt. Should be off the chizzle.

Speaking of, what's their deal? I don't know anything about them, really (other that they are from Sweden, so that's most likely a good start ).

That's their last album cover. They pretty much sound like black metal set to that image.
