Personally I think Blood Mountain is their finest work. I think it blends together their heavy and proggy material perfectly.

Yes

I do agree with things like Leviathan and Nothing, but it was just Blue Record and Killswitch that were sticking out like a sore thumb to me.

I don't even want to think about putting this together yet, but the shoo-ins would be Red Album and Leviathan

Yeah, That Killswitch album is completely the outlier, but I think it's great.

Why?- Besides Metallica, this was my first Metal album. So it's always going to have a place in my favorite albums.

How?
- I bought Dream Theater's TOT and Opeth's Deliverance the same day after taking some advice on getting into Progressive Metal. It took me almost a year after buying Deliverance that I actually started to appreciate them. Opeth was the first band I discovered with Growls. With TOT, I loved it from the second I heard it.

WTF?!?- TOT isn't my favorite Dream Theater album, but like I said, it got me into Progressive Metal and for that reason it's in my "personal" top ten Metal albums of the 00's.
