Why buy albums on the release date at this point?

...I don't understand a rerelease of something less than a year after it came out

edit:I like the original cover better, why doesn't this have that artwork?

Yeah, total nothing release for me. And as much as artists/labels/PR people protest otherwise, releasing deluxe editions months after release is a slap in the face for fans.
