I'm not going to agree with everything he posted myself, see the divine conspiracy (much as I love epica, that song does not belong on this list) but some of the ones he posted I would agree with... see opeth.

The Divine Conspiracy belongs more than Kingdom of Heaven does, IMO.

Bottom line is this:

Any of the songs he posted which do happen to totally fucking rock...are almost entirely due to mere coincidence.

If you look at the time of my post which resurrected this thread (12:50) and the time of his post (1:20), he did the whole list of however many songs in about twenty minutes (thirty minutes tops, assuming that he saw the thread on the "New Posts" list at the exact same instant that I made my post).

That is almost proof positive that all he did was sort his i-Tunes by track length and just cut & paste everything that was greater than ten minutes (maybe he picked his favorite artists out of the list, but still). No way can you come up with a truly well-thought-out list of over thirty ass-kicking songs in only fifteen to twenty minutes.

In all honesty if I were to make a list of the songs for myself, it wouldn't take that long. It would basically be looking at all the 10+ minute songs and picking the ones I really think rocked... I mean its obvious that he didn't post every 10+ minute song he owns... the guy is a big dream theater fan... that was not every 10+ minute dream theater song... I know there's more than that.
