Rob Zombie -- San Jose, CA -- November 3rd, 2009

Great show. I was reminded that you go to a show not just to see a band play their songs live, but perform (cough, cough, CYNIC).
The opener, Captain Clegg, was pretty lame other than their last song.
Necromantix was awesome, the crowd was pretty much love or hate with them but they had a good pit during most of their 30-45 minute set. 8/10

Rob Zombie gets an A for effort but 6/10 for not 'singing' about a third of the lyrics in most of the songs. 9/10 for the rest of the band. High five to John 5. And the new material needs more Charlie Clouser.

What Lurks on Channel X?

Demon Speeding
More Human than Human
Sick Bubble-Gum
House of 1000 Corpses
Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)
Scum of the Earth
What?
American Witch
Tease section: Jesse's Girl, Highway to Hell, Black or White/Beat It
Thunder Kiss 65 (guitar solo interlude)
---
Werewolf Women of the SS
The Lords of Salem
---
Dragula

Zombie has never sang all the words, going back to White Zombie. He's also used backing tapes. (On Real Solution 9 & Creature of the Wheel)

That doesn't bother me, Charlie Clouser's time is too valuable to be wasting on tour.
