This was a halloween show and was pretty much fun until the end. (explained below) the venue was small and kinda a shit hole. and to top it off they dont serve any alcohol!!!!!

Black Dahlia Murder came out dressed as the village people. it was pretty fucking funny.

i was having a really great time at this show, until during black valor trevor decided to grab a my face and push it for no reason other than my hand being in his face. i was so extremely pissed after this of couse! i really didnt nothing except but my hands up and scream the words to the songs. after this i just wanted to leave. but i decided to stay and finish the set. i just understand this. ive seen this band so many times. hung out with them numerous times and even got them to smoke their weed with me! and now this, i just dont really know if i will see them again after that.

the only thing that some what made up for it was that trevor grabed my hand and put the setlist in it.

anyway enough of that bullshit.......

The guy in the band isn't going to recognize every single person they've ever hung out with. I seriously doubt he was pissed at you for having your hands in his face, but if he's performing, he's going to do what he has to do to keep the performance at a high level (I've seen BDM three times, and they always have insane energy). If a kids hands were in my face and I was giving all my energy to a song, I'd probably do something to get him off of me too. Be thankful he didn't kick you in the face or anything, but I seriously doubt he was trying to be a dick to you or anything.

i can agree with what your saying. the whole not getting recognized wasnt any issue. i didnt expect that. but when he shoved my face it did seem more than him trying to get me off him. it not like it matters, they still are one of my favorite bands, so ill go see them again. i can understand what happened, in the end i probably deserved it. i just thought i would share my story.

this was my ninth time seeing this band so i did know what to expect. i just didnt expect him to do that. thats all.

In the original poster's defense, it's pretty douchey to hit a fan in the face. That straddles the line of a good performance and "tough guy bullshit".
