I haven't heard this album yet but I don't understand all the hate for Death Magnetic. It's better than Endgame, that's for sure.

Well, I'm not even going to try listening to this. IMO, Christ Illusion was one of the worst albums I've ever heard, and Psychopathy Red was lame. I get the feeling that trying to listen to this album would just piss me off.

To Somewhereintime72: If you didn't like Christ Illusion then don't even bother, you won't like it. It ain't no "return to form" if there need be any. As I said before, I don't think Slayer have ever released a bad album, but to each his own.

Laaaame. I don't hate Christ Illusion, but it was certainly a letdown. The three songs I've heard so far I kinda like, however.

if I can just add my 2 cents, imho Chris Illusion is by far the worst Slayer album; you have Cult, Jihad, Flesh Storm and maybe Skeleton Christ that are really good. That album was a real let down for me after the masterpiece that God Hates Us All was

I just hope World Painted Blood can be as good as the 3 tracks that are already out, I would really freak out.

Im with Serpentine, Iv yet to hear a slayer album I dont like. Of course you have the weaker albums, but every album has been slayer. No acoustic songs, no ballads, no change in direction. It has been, and always will be, Slayer. This album, from what iv heard, reflects that.

That being said, Megadeths Endgame takes the biscuit for best big four record of the last ones released, Id put world painted blood next, then Death Magnetic.

Nope, I just love Endgame, I loved UA too. Death Magnetic was long winded, its good, but long winded. Slayer rock, I love them, and World Painted Blood. Tis just my opinion

I like you buddy but I completelly dissagree with everything in there apart for Endgame beiing pretty good.
