Primus Reunion?

OK, so I heard from somebody the other day that "Primus is getting back together". The first thing I said to the kid who told me this is that (a) I had heard it all before, (b) that it depends on what you mean by "reunion", (c) even if it's real, we'll see if it lasts.

I mean, Les Claypool himself obviously hasn't stopped making music (in fact, some pseudo-fans of his might not even know that he released his second bona fide solo album "Of Fungi and Foe" earlier this year). So we can all agree that Les is active - but is Primus? The last time they "got back together", it was for some touring they did under the Primus moniker during the summer a few years back (I don't remember exactly when that was, but I remember they came through Cleveland unbeknownst to me, and I missed the show which pissed me off no end).

So who knows something reliable about the current status of Primus?

Would be cool because they'd probably play Wakarusa.

I'm sure they played a little over a year ago at Outside Lands

As Primus, though - or as one of Les's numerous side / solo projects?

Yup. Tom Petty was playing too so I would have gone if the tickets weren't $100+ for a single day.

That new icon is badass, bro. Some of the best album art this year. Nicely done!

I say Larry Lalonde should go give Jeff Bacera a hand instead.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that's in favor of a Possessed reunion?
