Well, I've heard one song... and it's awful. I have no high hopes for Triptykon at all.

Not forgot, necessarily - just not familiar.

Candlemass missed my radar screen back in the day - no explanation why.
The Gates of Slumber I have checked out a little, and I seem to remember liking what I heard.
I've been meaning to check out Goatsnake more, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

...but that's why I like this board - it helps me expand my metal horizons even more.

Sleep is playing ATP next year right under Iggy and The Stooges.

Maybe they'll do Roadburn!

Earthless are fantastic live. I saw them opening for Baroness in Detroit last November, and they brought the house down. They are a three-piece instrumental metal jam band that tends to write songs on the long side (ten to fifteen minutes, or even longer), but when they play live they medley their stuff together and basically just rock out non-stop for about 30-40 minnutes straight. Impressive as hell, and totally entertaining at the same time.

...and of course my opinion about Russian Circles is well-documented. As I said before...you lucky bastards.
