Used to love Collective Soul. Saw them live a bunch of times in the mid '90's. I lost interest after the dissapointing 'Blender' album but I still enjoy them from time to time.

Yeah, Blender was a big disappointment. I barely even remembered the name of that album, actually. Their next album called YOUTH is actually really good. Their last album AFTERWORDS... so-so. Their new self-titled/Rabbit CD comes out on 8/25.

DOSAGE and their blue s/t CD are both amazing... 2 of my favorite albums by any band, period

Yeah those 2 are my favorites also. I got into Youth for a bit a couple years ago, was actually a pretty good album. Haven't heard the newest one, and I don't understand why they're putting out another self titled album. Seems stupid to me especially considering the 'blue' album was their most successful album.

I have all of their albums. I've only seen them once, but would have liked to see them more - they are very entertaining. They might not be metal, as you say, but I like them a great deal. Thanks for posting!

Nat

BTW, this was a pretty decent set. They have so much material, that anybody could take pot shots and say they should have played this or should not have played that, but overall this would have made me pretty happy.
