"Sounds good. I'll draw up the paperwork."

Lol. Actually Suisham was 18 of 21 on field goals when the redskins cut him. It was the fact that the 3 misses were in crucial situations.

Now him missing a 30 yarder last Sunday was inexcusable.

Slim pickings at free agent kicker this time of the year.

This is true. Maybe we can pick up someone better in the offseason. I'm still sad about Nick Folk's implosion. He was one of the most successful U of A alums in the league, and seeing someone from my alma matter play for my favorite NFL team was pretty cool.

After I realized I had forgotten to do it more than twice, I stopped doing it. So I don't think you can really say you "beat" me.

I was sorry to see Folk get cut too, but it had to be done. He had just lost it. He couldn't hit from anywhere. Strange that the two prior seasons he was automatic.

Haha, same.

I came in 3rd (out of 4) in the group I was in with coworkers. I would have done better, but I wasn't able to make my picks in week 16 (no access to work email) and forgot to do it last week.

So the second highest selling merch team finally decided to shell out some money in free agency.
I smell Super Bowl XLVI.

49ers on Carr you mean? I don't like it. He won't be a starter for us in the long term, and I'd like to build a team for the future. Building through the draft is better for the team, but it's much more fun as a fan to see a team build through free agency. Like the Bears.

I'm talking about the Bears in the first place. I couldn't have cared less until Singletary took over and changed the overall attitude and mentality of the team.
I think you're right about Carr but if you look at the Bears, they haven't spent any big money on free agents for as long as I can remember. It had to happen now if they are serious about going for a championship while Urlacher, Briggs and Tommie Harris are still around.

They still don't have the receiving core to enhance the run game, which was really really lackluster last year. Not to mention Cutler's serious..............inconsistency, and that defense has a bit to prove. Also, they spent on Pace last year, but this year they went overboard. Taylor won't be worth it, Peppers could be, but it'll be interesting to see if he's as good as he was in Carolina.
